Well established, family-owned glass company based in Kansas City, KS is seeking a "take charge" candidate to serve as a Customer Service Representative.

The ideal candidate must be customer service oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The candidate should also be able to multi-task and prioritize projects.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting customers face-to-face as well as by phone and e-mail, and walk them through the sales process
  • Identify and assess customer's needs
  • Keep records of customer interactions and requests
  • Manage schedules for specific projects and coordinate with teammate schedules
  • Order materials as needed
  • Conduct clerical duties including filing, answering phone calls, responding to e-mails, and preparing documents
  • Follow up with delinquent accounts

Qualifications and Skills Desired:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • At least 2 years' customer service experience in an office setting
  • Strong knowledge of Intuit QuickBooks software
  • Excellent communication skills with co-workers, customers, and suppliers
  • Ability to complete administrative tasks with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
  • Strong phone handling and etiquette skills

Normal hours for this position will be Monday thru Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm. We are looking for a candidate with flexible hours, earliest start time would be 8:00am, and possible Saturday hours, 10:00am - 3:00pm.
