Customer Service Representative
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Location: Rock Island, IL

Compensation: $16 - $21 depending upon experience
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and promptly entering orders &/or quotes so our production team can create a quality product matching the customer's specifications.
- Managing the follow-up on all branch sales quotes to improve sales closing ratios.
- Driving & improving our customer’s experience with our online ordering platform including, customer identification, support and training, marketing, and overall strategy.
- Being the primary contact for a dedicated customer list and performing various sales activities such as calls, appointments, online ordering technical support, quotes and general customer service.
- Soliciting new customers and partnering with Territory Sales Managers to improve contacts among key and target customers.
- Being a partner to our sales team in the field.
- Handling all aspects of customer care such as problem resolution and relationship management
Requirements:
- Associate degree or higher preferred, HS degree or equivalent required.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in a dedicated customer service and/or sales focused environment (inside sales or outside sales) and experience utilizing a CRM tool.
- Experience in a customer-centric role within an office setting.
- Phenomenal administrative skills while multi-tasking and still delivering world-class customer care.
- Professional communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience performing estimating, drafting &/or construction project management or working in the construction or manufacturing industry is desired but not required.
- A team player mentality.
- Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), NetSuite ERP and other applications.
