Job description

Responsibly manage Southside Tire's service related activities in house and at customer job sites along with inside counter sales.

Additional responsibilities include revenue growth, service forecasting, planning and goal setting for the service technicians along with the service technicians continued growth and development. Time is primarily spent servicing existing accounts, developing the service technicians and ensuring that revenue and profitability goals are met. This position is being groomed for the potential of a fleet development representative or sales management position.

Ideal Candidate for the Service Assistant Position:

• Customer service focus -- greeting customers, fulfilling needs, fostering positive friendly environment and loyal customer base

• Proven sales track record in a commercial environment and strong telephone skills with the ability to provide customers with product information, schedule appointments, and handle their tire and service needs

• Solid understanding of the tire and service industry -- mechanical knowledge

• An insurable driving record
