Nakamoto Forestry is the world’s largest manufacturer of yakisugi, commonly known as “Shou Sugi Ban” in the West, we have an unmatched dedication to craft & tradition. We are the only company supplying North America and Europe with authentically milled and heat treated yakisugi.
Position
We have an immediate opening for an CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE who is reliable, punctual, and a go-getter with a positive attitude. Primary task is to provide office support to sales staff and customers throughout North America.
Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct appropriately.
- Daily filing and paper processing.
- Assist with various spreadsheets and reports.
- Enter new customers information into the database (CRM).
- Respond to customer inquiries.
- Send quotes, invoices, and documents to customers.
- Willingness to grow and learn.
- Perform other job duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an office environment doing office and/or sales support.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite software.
- Experience with QuickBooks, CRM’s, ERP’s, Slack, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Proven work history of punctuality and attendance.
- Objective honesty, high ethical standards, and a focus on producing work.
- Telephone skills
- 10-key
- 40+ WPM
Hours
Office hours are Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Hours for this position are negotiable. This is not a remote position.
Location
Northeast Portland near the airport.
Starting Wage
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
