Express Employment Eastern Jackson County is currently seeking to fill a Customer Service Representative position near Grain Valley, MO. Desirable candidates can work independently and as part of a team, with limited supervision at times, and are highly organized and hard-working.

** Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (1 Saturday/overtime required per month) **

Basic Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Run eligibility and benefits reports.
• Analyze paperwork to ensure that all required documentation has been received and that the patient qualifies under the insurance guidelines.
• Work with the local center or directly with referring provider if additional documentation is needed.
• Request authorization and follow up on authorization.
• Assist in calling centers for missing information or corrections.
• Answer phone and email questions from the centers
• Works on denials received.
• Work with billing centers to determine denials and insurance issues.
• Communicate professionally with patients, medical professionals, and co-workers.

​Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prefer: Previous customer service experience in a medical setting
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office Products
