Job Title: CT Technician - Radiology / Cardiology

Job Summary: The CT Technician specializing in Radiology/Cardiology will perform CT scans on patients in a hospital setting. The technician will operate CT imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and possess expertise in conducting CT procedures.

Description:

• Specialty: CT Tech
• Shift: Mid shift, Monday to Friday, 11:00 am - 9:30 pm, and every 3rd weekend, 9:00 am - 7:30 pm
• Patient Age Group: Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics
• Work Setting: Hospital

Skills and Procedures:

• Proficient in operating CT imaging equipment
• Conducting CT scans of various body parts and systems
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures
• Familiarity with contrast administration techniques
• Ability to perform quality control checks on equipment
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols

Qualifications:

• Certification in CT Technology or Radiologic Technology
• Valid licensure to practice as a CT Technologist in the state of Alabama (or eligible for licensure)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Familiarity with CT imaging techniques and protocols
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to CT scanning
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

COVID-19 Vaccine Guidelines: Required - No Exemptions (as per facility guidelines)

Additional Information:

• This is a 13-week contract position
• The technician will specialize in CT procedures
• The shift is during the day, with 4x10-hour shifts (11:00 am - 9:30 pm) from Monday to Friday
• Every 3rd weekend shift is also required from 9:00 am - 7:30 pm
• The technician will work in a hospital setting
• The facility requires the COVID-19 vaccine for all employees without exemptions (as per facility guidelines)
• The facility's guidelines regarding flu vaccination are unknown, and further information should be obtained from the facility itself
• The client will not conduct interviews until May 22nd, and the start date will be determined accordingly
