Crew Lead

Crew Leads directly report to the Café Manager. Maintain high standards of food, service, health, and safety. Ensure the efficient and profitable business performance of the café, and the optimal utilization of staff and resources. High Energy and Passion for People and Food.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for duties in the café, including all internal control and employee safety.
• Responsible for supervision of staff, labor control and Cost control during shift
• Responsible for meeting the brand’s standards and procedures
• Interacts with crew members, customers, and vendors using “Tropitude” (Tropitude is our “mojo” and what makes Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different. It means having energy and creating a positive atmosphere).
• Delivers “Unparalleled Hospitality” to each customer that visits our café.
• Controls profit & Loss by following cash handling and security procedures, maintaining
• inventory, and managing labor
• Interact with customers to ensure all inquiries and complaints are handled promptly
• Ensure 100% compliance with hygiene standards
• Implement policies and procedures, follow up with progress and measure results
• Ensure adherence to Franchise recipes
• Ensure quality of food and beverage presentation are to Franchise specifications
• Observe portions control and preparation quantities to minimize waste
• Ensure Inventory Controls are met
• Arrange for maintenance and repairs of equipment and services
• Oversees Inventory

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Excellent communication skills
• Leadership Experience (preferred)
• Restaurant Experience (preferred)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 per hour
