JOB DESCRIPTION

CREDIT REPRESENTATIVE: DETAILS
Title: Credit Representative
Location: LaVergne TN
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: $18-19/hour

Type: Contract (2-4 months)

Hours: 7:30am-4:30pm CT | Monday - Friday

REQUIREMENTS: CREDIT REPRESENTATIVE
  • Personal Computing skills to include 10 key, data entry, word processing, spreadsheets and email
  • Oral and written communications skills (grammar, spelling, punctuation)
  • Experience with MS Office Suite, including Outlook and Excel

RESPONSIBILITIES: CREDIT REPRESENTATIVE
  • Ensure applications received are complete, including required contracts.
  • Act as an expert in the new account process and all areas of responsibility and works within established guidelines to complete financial/performance review to determine creditworthiness of credit applications to be used when establishing an ordering account.
  • They organize files according to status and documents steps taken during review process in SharePoint and completes or initiates new account set up in various systems based on division of applicant.
  • Performs various maintenance to customer master records including enabling ordering capabilities for other divisions and customers.
  • Validates and ensures completeness of credit applications; retrieves customer information, including but not limited to, bank references, trade references, D&B's and Equifax's,
  • Provides financial review, within established guidelines and processes, to make credit limit recommendations that are approved by credit management.
  • Participate on medium sized projects and providing recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Performs and processes assigned responsibilities to include new account set-up, customer master file maintenance, reporting spreadsheets, and other related transactions not performed in the defined standards.
  • Shares process improvement recommendations and knowledge to multiple audiences including cross functional teams, external clients and management
  • Works with field and sales management regarding complex and sensitive customer issues; ensuring a positive outcome for both the company and customer.
