Job description

Do you have a construction background? Are you able to use a tape measure and power tools? We are hiring crate builders for our shipping department. These employees make custom crates to ensure our signs get shipped safely to their destination.

• Operate hand or power equipment such as table saw, radial arm saw, drill press, nail gun, staple gun and band saw
• Use a forklift and hoist/crane for moving material
• Safely load and transport items by hand or with power equipment
• Load and unload trucks and trailers as well as operate scales and part id equipment.
• Accurately process paperwork for receiving and shipping and warehousing raw materials and finished goods.
• Manually lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 100 pounds.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Bend up to 40 degrees, twist up to 45 degrees
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to safely operate a forklift
• Ability to operate hand/power equipment
• Possess fine hand manipulation to assemble stock
