Stress Reduction Counselor - LCSW

Job Location: Long Island City (Onsite)
Job Schedule: 5/23, 9am - 5pm, with future possibility for a few days per month in Long Island City, Manhattan and Kew Gardens.
Job Type: Per Diem
Pay Rate: $80-100 per hour

Full Job Description:
VitalCheck Wellness is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to provide mental health counseling services for employees of a private business in law enforcement field. Our office arranges the patient appointments and does the administrative work, giving you the time and luxury to provide clinical care to clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessment for mental health conditions.
• Create treatment plans and therapies to improve clients' well-being.
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions in person and through telemedicine.
• Maintain clients documentation.
• Support clients in stress reduction and other aspects of mental health.
• Respond to client's ad hoc needs through online chat.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited school.
• Active New York license of LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker).
• At least five years of experience as a LCSW.
• Experience with law enforcement environment preferred
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office, EMR systems.
  
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  
• Must be available to work on 5/23 . Availability to fill multiple locations for future days preferred.
• Available for occasional evening or weekend hours as needed.
• Must be able to reliably commute to job locations.
• Must be up to date with COVID-19 vaccine.
