Job Responsibilities:

• Develops an accurate proposal based on material, equipment, and labor costs for any new projects.
• Demonstrates teamwork in collaboration with multiple departments on new projects.
• Determines and enters Special Instructions (SI’s) for the new fabrication parts.
• Creates new part numbers, updates Sage Inventory accounting software.
• Reviews existing, repeat orders to ensure material and labor costing is accurate.
• Works with production supervision, leads and machine operators to review, confirm labor hours, labor cost is accurate on an ongoing basis.
• Helps coordinate and complete special projects when needed.
• Handles other tasks as assigned.

Required Experience, Education, and Skills:

• At least two (2) years of experience in job cost estimating.
• Proficiency in math, statistics and data analysis
• Familiarity with analyzing data to develop cost estimates for large projects.
• Able to create and maintain basic spread sheets.
• Being bi-lingual is helpful but not required.
• Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in accounting, engineering, physical sciences, math or statistics preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
