The primary responsibility of the Correction Analyst is to identify and process corrections to closed cases in accordance with contractual requirements. This position supports the Case Processing Operation Center (CPOC) within our Defense and Intel Operating Group.Key Role/Responsibilities
- List all actions/ duties necessary to complete job requirements
- Identify and process corrections to closed cases per established guidelines
- Ensure work is completed in accordance with CPOC operations manuals in a timely manner
- Review OPIS and microfilm to verify correction requests
- Maintain professionalism
- Other assignments/projects as needed to support department, contract, or business needs.
- Ability to work /communicate with other departments in a professional manner
- Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 5 years of investigative experience
- Bachelor’s in English or Technical Writing Preferred
- Five years’ experience in one or more of the following: A0 Pre-Review, File Release, Review
- Must have at least 6 months of DCSA contract experience
- Working knowledge of the Support Services contract and various functions
- Communicate clearly within email and explicate process on approved electronic forms
- Develop and maintain rapport to ensure work meets identified goals with others on a team and on an individual basis
- Knowledge and understanding of policies and procedures of the organization, department, and all handbooks; basic computer/office literacy, (PIPS, OPM LAN, Microsoft Office, fax and copier)
- Computer proficiency and ability to type 40 words per minute
- US Citizenship, due to nature of work performed and contract requirement
- Must pass a government background investigation
- List other attributes/factors that would be contribute to the applicant’s success
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication and listening skills
- Must prioritize, organize, and complete work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work flexible schedule: ability to adjust to changing workload. Work schedules are determined by management on a weekly basis and are determined by workload
- Experience working in the Government services industry is preferred
- Position requires moderate lifting.
- Position requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Work is performed using company furnished laptop or desktop
- Work will be performed on-site at Iron Mountain, Boyers, PA. Remote work may be possible with manager approval
