Job description
Mercy Multiplied exists to provide opportunities for all to experience God’s unconditional love, forgiveness, and life-transforming power. Mercy’s residential counseling program is voluntary, biblically-based, and helps young women ages 13–32 break free from life-controlling issues and situations, including anxiety, depression, abuse, eating disorders, self-harm, addictions, unplanned pregnancy, and sex trafficking. These residential services are offered free-of-charge. In September of 2020, Mercy Multiplied launched its first Mercy Multiplied Center for Wellness and Counseling in Monroe/West Monroe, LA offering free-of-charge outpatient counseling to that community. Our Outreach Services train and resource men and women to effectively support and minister to those who are hurting and struggling through workshops, videos, podcasts, discipleship teaching, and other practical resources.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Corporate Receptionist & Intake Assistant at our corporate office located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Hours: 40 per week
Compensation: Based on experience
To be successful in this role, one must have the following:
- Must have a thorough understanding of, and dedication to, the vision of Mercy Multiplied, along with demonstrated Christian work ethics
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field preferred but not required
- Professional appearance is required for this position as it is often the very first impression one has of the ministry
- Excellent interpersonal skills required
- Must be able to handle multiple phone lines in a professional and courteous manner while displaying patience and compassion
- Exceptional communication skills are required (written and verbal)
- Must be dependable and able to work alone
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Corporate Receptionist Responsibilities:
- Answers phones in a professional manner and directs calls to appropriate staff.
- Is knowledgeable concerning procedures for handling certain types of phone calls and requests.
- Ensures that staff providing relief for reception are kept up to date on rules and procedures.
- Manages the info email account, replying to general inquiries and forwarding other inquiries to the appropriate staff.
- Receives visitors in a polite and courteous manner and notifies the appropriate person or department of their arrival. Customer service is of the utmost importance.
- Signs receiving slips for all deliveries (UPS, Federal Express, office supplies, etc.) when the mailroom staff is unavailable and contacts the appropriate department for pickup.
- Stocks supplies such as forms used in reception area, bottled water and other kitchen supplies, and notifies the Administrative Supervisor when supplies are low.
- Maintains a clean and orderly workspace in the reception/lobby area, 1st floor conference room, kitchen, and break room.
- Updates pictures of current residents in the corporate prayer room.
- Schedules all corporate and Nashville home tours.
- Oversees conference room reservations, corporate vehicles reservations, staff prayer list, staff devotion schedule, and staff directory.
- Responds to general inquiries received via mail.
- Assists other departments as needed and completes other duties as assigned.
Intake Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative support for the Intake Department.
- Manages the Intake email account, replying to general inquiries and forwarding other inquiries to the appropriate staff.
- Completes daily courtesy calls and emails to new applicants and schedules their inquiry call.
- Completes a second courtesy call weekly for applicants who have not scheduled their inquiry call.
- Schedules Getting to Know You calls as requested by Intake staff.
- Sends Gratavid encouragement videos to new applicants.
- Responds to international applicants to refer and closes their files.
- Sends encouragement cards by mail to applicants.
- Accepts ETO referrals for all homes.
- Reviews requests from applicants to reapply and provides instructions for their next steps.
- Uploads applicants’ pictures to ETO.
- Manages the texting account to correspond weekly with active applicants, respond to any general inquiries, and forward additional inquiries to the appropriate staff.
