React Health is a fast paced, growth oriented, manufacturer and distributor of medical equipment serving the respiratory, sleep and cardiology patients, caregivers, physicians, and providers. React Health sells and supports its product and services in the acute-care, non-acute and home medical equipment markets. React Health has built a model that combines manufacturing and distribution of products and services to meet the challenges of the undiagnosed as well as those needing therapies after diagnosis in the sleep and respiratory population.

The Operations Coordinator will coordinate cross functionally with internal & external stakeholders to ensure that orders execute on time, as scheduled. Coordinators will have responsibility for inbound or outbound logistics within the React Health supply chain. Regarding transportation, they will make decisions to optimize mode (LTL/FTL/Partial/etc.) using complex data and analytics to improve both service and cost. For warehousing, they will streamline communication between internal team members, service providers and warehouse [3PL] staff, support operational KPIs, and work to resolve any disputes that may arise due to errors. This person will be responsible for implementing and measuring new supply chain initiatives, while maintaining foundational processes and procedures.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process & Cost Control

  • Work cross-functionally to overcome barriers and identify resources required to achieve financial goals.
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge of relevant carrier modes and warehousing operations
  • Support sourcing initiatives (optimal sourcing, tactical sourcing adjustments, ad hoc capacity procurement, etc.)
  • Manage tactical and strategic procurement events to execute shipments through the supply chain
  • Preparation for ad hoc and contractual carrier negotiations
  • Maintain key strategic relationships with transportation providers and warehousing partners
  • Monitor key performance indicators for improvement and control purposes
  • Identify cost saving opportunities and drive execution of initiatives with management team
  • Primary supply chain point of contact for customer advocate reps, sales, and transportation vendors
  • Ability to accept rapidly changing priorities, shift focus to accomplish a tactical goal, then return to strategic priorities without losing productivity
  • Maintain and update existing supply chain SOPs; create new SOPs as needed
  • Collaborate with both carriers and customers (internal and external) to drive overall supply chain efficiencies
