Atlantic Health System is seeking a Part-time Cook I doe the Food Service - General department at Chilton Medical Center to work varies shift, including every other weekend.
Responsibilities:
Essential Function/Responsibilities:
- Must be experienced in cook to order.
- Demonstrate the ability to multitask while working in a fast paced kitchen.
- Knowledge of FIFO and LIFO.
- Ability to follow portion control when serving patients.
- Demonstrate good judgment in the ability to organize work flow.
- Knowledge and ability to follow HACCP guidelines.
Minimum Education:
- High school diploma
Minimum Experience:
- Must have a good command of culinary fundamentals.
- Work in an area with extreme temperatures, standing for long periods of time, stooping and walking for long periods of times.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
License/Certification:
- ServSafe Certification preferred.
