Responsibilities:
- Create high quality sushi including cooking rice, rolling sushi, temperature recording, cutting and packaging for takeout and dine in plate preparation
- Ensure all operating standards including food safety and quality are strictly adhered to
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of sushi station
- Order and receive raw materials and dry goods
- Maintain daily production records
Qualifications:
- Be 18 years of age
- Possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members
- Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
- Must be able to work unsupervised
- Must be available to work between the hours of 8:00 am to 11:00pm
- Thorough knowledge of health and safety rules in the kitchen • Must be able to stand and work for up to 4 hours at a time
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion work without the assistance of restraints, braces or other incumbrances that limit range of motion or physical activity
- Must be able to lift, move and shelve products and materials weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work in temperatures exceeding 85* for extended periods of time
- Be willing to follow direction and ask questions for clarification if needed
- Be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
