We are seeking a Beltman/ Conveyance at Twentymile.
The Hourly Wage Range for this position is between 33.37 and $35.36.33 depending on experience. Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Visibly support and champion Peabody's Mission and Values
- Act in accordance with and adhere to Safety as a Way of Life Management System
- All tasks necessary to advance development section and retreat longwall sections
- Belt moves; removal of belt structure
- Installation and removal of monorail
- Fan and Power moves
- Set timbers
- Build cribs and stoppings
- General clean-up
Qualifications/Experience
- Colorado Mine Foreman
- Electrical Certification Preferred
- Noise Certification preferred
- Previous mining experience preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
UNDERGROUND ENVIRONMENT
- Must have the ability to stand for 4 to 8 hours on uneven rocky surfaces.
- Must have the ability to be seated for up to 4 hours to operate equipment or vehicles or computer.
- Must have the ability to walk for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Must have the ability up to 80 pounds with out mechanical assistance during the course of shift work.
- Must have the ability to climb on and off equipment and ladders.
- Must be able to work outdoors in inclement weather.
