Our client is seeking to direct hire for the day shift.

This company is a division of the leading North American supplier of propulsion-agnostic, structural automotive components and assemblies. Their 100% vertical integration capabilities allows them to offer their customers end-to-end engineering, manufacturing, and in-house logistics. Responsibilities as a Controls Technician:

• Support new program equipment launch activity as it relates to startup, debug and achieving performance objectives.

• Understand equipment design purpose and functionality to provide support of PLC and HMI programs, robotics, drive systems for new and existing systems on the facility floor

• Understand and support robotic programming for new and existing systems on the facility floor

• Work with skilled trades and other technical associates to complete installation and start-up of new and modified equipment in a timely manner

• Use engineering software and equipment: (PLC and HMI base programs, PC based programs, CAD based programs)
