NOW CFO is seeking an experienced Controller to join our Clients team. They are in the manufacturing industry.

As a Controller, you’ll monitor the financial & accounting status, review quarterly and annual budgets and manage accounting transactions.

To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with risk management. Ultimately, you’ll make sure we comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits and mitigate risks.

The Controller will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing the accounting operations of the manufacturing company
• Producing periodic financial reports
• Maintaining an adequate system of accounting records
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive set of controls and budgets to mitigate risk and enhance the accuracy of the company's financial results
• Ensuring that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards
• Managing the company's job costing system, including the analysis of variances and other cost-related data
• Preparing reports and recommendations for management based on job costing analysis

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing and job costing
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with job costing systems
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
