Required:
- Bachelor's degree and ten years progressively responsible experience, five of which are in a leadership role; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated fiscal responsibility and comprehensive knowledge of accounting, financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience with complex strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Experience in managing relationships and influencing outcomes.
- Experience preparing and reviewing general ledger account reconciliations
- Experience with monthly and quarterly financial reporting including P&L review
Nice to Have:
- 10+ years of experience
What you will be doing:
- Evaluate and implement internal controls in order to ensure processes are operating effectively
- Provide necessary reporting on financial data, ensuring all requested reporting (ad‐hoc and routine) are completed in a timely, accurate manner
- Ensure proper planning and resource availability for assigned projects; develop, design, measure, and ensure analytical and control activities are operating effectively within the department; Supervise projects according to plans
- Ensure accounting records and practices adhere to GAAP accounting policies and remain standard across all business units
- Supervise the allocation of resources, performance and any competing requirements to meet internal and external stakeholder expectations. Ensure Services Agreements are performing with regard to achieving business case deliverables
- Provide support, training, mentoring, problem resolution, and development to the accounting staff on an ongoing basis to ensure the department performs at a maximum performance level. Plan and schedule the staff to promote efficiency in completing all job responsibilities
- Lead, drive, communicate and be accountable for shared service strategies across our companies that deliver high quality services and are cost effective
- Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
- Direct the implementation of compliant risk management operations within area of responsibility by guiding teams on accurate and timely responses to risk management issues and ensure strategic approach to meeting company objectives
- Conduct analysis of risk assessments and rankings and develop risk analytics and reporting dashboards to support Management reviews and informed decision making
- Drive innovation of risk management processes by identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
- Perform other job‐related duties as requested
