Contract Revenue Specialist | Tulsa, OK

Monday - Friday 8-5

Job Summary
Identify and follow up on contract underpayments resulting from inappropriate denials or contract misinterpretation.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Identify and follow up on contract underpayments resulting from inappropriate denials or contract misinterpretation.
Contact Payors when problems are identified as to how payment was calculated and educate Payor on the contracts contents.
Analyze and prepare monthly denial report to discuss with Revenue Recovery Team.
Manage all steps in the appeal process for managed care payors. Letters, phone calls, formal appeals; documenting process along
the way.
Assist various health system entities in resolving contractual issues.
Identify any trends in denials and any changes that can be made within the system to eliminate the issue.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Education
High School Diploma or GED. Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
Work Experience
3 - 4 years related experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
Working knowledge and ability to utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, Access (Microsoft Office) in the preparation of correspondence and
various reporting.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
