Contract Mail Carrier

This posting is for a contract mail carrier to provide service on a dedicated route 2-3 days per week and multiple days for vacation coverage. Job duties include;

Sorting mail, magazines and packages in the post office

Loading sorted mail into your vehicle - VEHICLE MUST BE A MINIVAN OR SUV WITH NO CENTER CONSOLE

Delivering all loaded items to the addresses on the fixed route

Returning to the post office with collected outgoing mail/parcels

The route is evaluated at around 10 hours of work, give or take based on your proficiency and pace.

Payment is disbursed twice a month through Venmo or paper check. Pay rates are as follows-

$210 per workday

You must be able to;

Pass a background check

Pass a drug screen

Have a valid license

No at fault accidents or DUI on your driving record

This is a long term job, it is 1099 which means there are no benefits and you are responsible for your taxes, this job works well for those who want to work independently and enjoy a fast paced work environment.
