Job description
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Coordinator is a position created to help foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of CI methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation. The CI Coordinator will report to the Lean Process Improvement Manager while working closely with each operations team on continuous improvement of business processes, with the use of Lean process improvement tools and methodologies. Will support project activity and actively participate in the work of the unit to accomplish goals and objectives, including follow-up and A-3 documentation.
Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with Six-Sigma preferred
Basic knowledge of Kaizen methodology required; experience facilitating Kaizen initiatives preferred
High-School diploma or GED. Two (2) or more years’ experience in a distribution environment required. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills required, with the demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
Experience with AutoCAD is a plus.
Experience in people management and project management preferred
Qualified Trainer is advantageous
