Janney is seeking a Content Marketing Specialist who will be a key contributor in creating content to assist the Capital Markets Group in building long-term relationships with their clients. In this role, you will work in partnership with the Group to create and manage print and digital content across multiple channels. This role reports to the Manager of Content Strategy and will work closely with internal business partners as well as Marketing and Corporate Communications team members. The Content Marketing Specialist must have exceptional writing skills, be detail-oriented, and able to balance multiple priorities. You will be responsible for ensuring all content is accurate, on-brand, on-time and distributed to the proper channels.

Responsibilities: I. Content Development:
  • Develop content to promote key capabilities of Janney’s capital markets business, including investment banking, sales and trading, and equity research.
  • Apply consistent messaging and positioning for use across multiple channels.
  • Work closely with team members on various aspects of content production and distribution.
  • Approach content development with a digital first mindset, supporting multi-media content development.
  • Adhere to editorial standards and brand guidelines of the firm.
  • Work in conjunction with the content team to ensure content aligns with overall strategy.
II. Content Management:
  • Oversee content management and update processes for content across multiple platforms.
  • Use internal content management workflow processes, implement, and maintain best practices for naming conventions, version control and a regular review and update process.
  • Ensure all delivered content is categorized and tagged appropriately and targeted for relevant channels.
III. Campaign Management:
  • Support the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that require coordination across internal groups.
  • Work with key partners to develop core messages and content across all disciplines contributing to campaigns.
  • Coordinate content distribution across all channels, including both the capital markets group and the wealth management groups.
What you have:
  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree in business, marketing, or communications strongly desired.
  • Minimum of 2 years of marketing and content development experience in the financial services industry, preferably in the capital markets space.
  • Ability to create communications strategies, messages, and content.
  • Comfort with managing multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrated ability to multi‐task and prioritize activities effectively.
  • Ability to think independently and handle increasing responsibility over time.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in digital distribution of content including websites, social, digital newsletters, podcasts, and videos.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong editorial skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite required: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
This role will be hybrid, the individual will work approximately three days per week in-office.
