Job Description:
Design. Develop, and manage content on web pages. Using a Content Management System (CMS) and graphics software, produce responsive and interactive web pages from customer specifications, descriptions, or storyboards. Contribute to the client’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of online offerings. Work with photos, video, audio, and interactive media files using provided tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite) converting formats, compressing or otherwise manipulating files for publication.
Responsibilities:
· Implement and maintain web-based content experiences – including web pages, heroes, carousels, scrollers, modals, alerts, and more – in collaboration with stakeholders and product teams
· Collaborate with stakeholders on content production and review to ensure content is correct and ready for publishing
· Work closely with stakeholders to build timelines for content deliverables
· Work within established content and design guidelines, standards, and best practices
· Support website functionality by assisting with testing
· Provide technical editing – including proofreading, grammar, and punctuation – to ensure accuracy in all site content
Required Skills:
· Base knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
· Content Management System experience (Kentico, Sitecore, Wordpress, Drupal, Sharepoint)
· Familiarity with code editors (Dreamweaver/Notepad ++)
· Image editing experience/Photoshop experience
· Excellent oral and written communications skills
Required Qualifications:
· US Citizen
· Associates Degree
· Must be able to secure a public trust clearance (U.S. Secret Clearance preferred)
· 1 or more years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
· Previous experience with content management technologies or related content creation/management tools.
· Familiarity with SEO, tags and search
· Familiarity with Adobe CC (Photoshop/Dreamweaver)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
