Content and Proposal Strategist - Full Time - Remote

About the position:

Sikich is seeking a professional services proposal specialist and strong content writer/editor to join our dynamic marketing team. The role will include writing and updating pursuit content in collaboration with Subject Matter Experts. In doing so, the collaborative effort will develop winning proposals that are compelling and differentiated. The Proposal and Bid Specialist will also ensure all messaging and deliverables align with Sikich’s target markets and will be responsible for managing pursuit team timelines.

Duties:

• With limited supervision or guidance, helping pursuit teams identify winning strategies by understanding the prospects needs and crafting messages and deliverables that differentiate Sikich
• Reviewing, editing and producing compelling proposals with strong attention to detail and formatting
• Writing, editing and publishing a variety of proposal and RFP related responses and materials
• Project managing the proposal process for new business and existing clients from opportunity stage to submission, including gathering information and seeking approvals
• Communicating effectively in writing and ensuring internal guidelines and brand standards are met in all work products
• Collaborating effectively across teams in a virtual work environment
• Applying knowledge of business and offerings to develop compelling and grammatically correct content

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, English, Communications, Journalism, Technical Writing, preferred; OR
• Associate’s degree, and two or more years of related work experience, in addition to the prerequisite experience listed below, required
• 2+ years of content writing, proposal management, technical writing, marketing, communications, project management, or sales experience, required
• Prior experience working as a pursuit content strategist or content marketing professional in the accounting, financial consulting, or business advisory industry
• Strong background in business writing, pursuit content strategy, and understanding of AP style
• Excellent verbal communication, executive presence and ability to work with professionals at all levels across the organization
• Strong team player who is comfortable working virtually and independently
• Excellent project and time management skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Works well under deadlines
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite a plus

Pay: $57,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
