Essential Functions:

• Inspects construction site daily and works with contractors
• Ensure construction progresses as scheduled and contract specification are adhered to
• Responsible for proper quality assurance and quality control on projects to ensure projects meet Company, industry, and client standards and expectations
• Analyze and correlate scientific and engineering data and recognize discrepancies in results using a series of related detailed steps or processes
• Assist in preparation of reports, studies, and technical memoranda
• Review, evaluate and verify accuracy and viability of designs, data, reports, and other documents before submitting them to the next review level
• Adheres to project deadlines and keeps the Supervising Engineer or Project Manager informed of any difficulties encountered on assignments
• Responsible for managing self on projects to ensure a quality product is produced in accordance with the schedule

Additional Eligibility Requirements:

• Experience with agencies such as CDOT, IDOT, Illinois Toll Authority and CTA
• Valid Driver's License

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited program
• Licenses: PE required
• Years of Experience: 5-10
