Construction Laborer

H&R Const. Co., a highway construction contractor in Dalton, Minnesota, is now taking applications for a Construction Laborer for the upcoming construction season.

Construction Laborer Responsibilities:

• Hauling, loading, and unloading various tools, materials, and equipment
• Safely operating company vehicles and equipment
• Traveling throughout Minnesota, primarily Monday through Friday
• Pouring concrete
• Pounding guardrail and signposts
• Installing signs, guardrail, and overhead sign structures
• Performing other tasks as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to obtain a commercial driver’s license
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Experience operating various hand and power tools
• Following oral and written instructions
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions
• Ability to lift moderately heavy objects
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver’s License
• Construction Experience
• Experience with equipment used in signing and guardrail (Boom Truck, Skid Steer, Backhoe, etc.)
