Wage Range
S15 - $26 per hour
Responsibilities
Safely and with high quality standards, complete tasks involving cutting, coring, demolition, and removal of concrete and other materials in residential, commercial, and industrial locations. Maintain a clean and safe working environment, vehicles, equipment, and tools. Properly load and secure equipment for safe transport and storage. Operate a truck or van of capacity less than 26,000 GVW to transport personnel and equipment.
1. Uses proper Personal Protection Equipment at all times including but not limited to: hardhats, safety glasses, high visibility clothing, steel toe boots, ear protection, and dust mask.
2. Be at work, dressed, and ready to go at the designated time.
3. Knowledge of how to check fluids, grease and clean machinery, equipment, and tools.
4. Loads and unloads trucks and trailers.
5. Moves with pace and purpose.
6. Keeps job site, shop, trucks, and trailers clean and organized.
7. Ensures the cleanup and removal of all slurry created on job sites.
8. Can use and read a tape measure as well as possess basic math skills.
9. Cuts concrete straight and accurately.
10. Properly use jack hammers, hand saws, chainsaws, core drills, slab saws, wall saws, wire saws, small equipment, loaders, aerial lifts, scissor lifts, and excavators.
11. Installs any necessary safety protection.
12. Drives vehicles with capacities under 26,000 GVW.
13. Inspects all equipment before use in accordance with manufacturer recommendation and specification.
14. Obeys all traffic laws.
15. Reads maps and follows written and verbal geographic directions.
16. Verifies the contents of inventory loads against shipping papers.
17. Reports any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles or equipment immediately.
18. Turns in receipts from deliveries and purchases as well as be able to get paperwork to Project Manager daily.
19. Properly erects and uses scaffolding and ladders.
20. Performs other work as specified by supervisors.
21. Accurately reports hours worked and tasks completed on job sites via CenPoint
22. Communicates throughout the day with Project Manager regarding job status in the absence of a Crew Leader.
23. Verifies it is ok to leave at the end of the day with Crew Leader or Project Manager.

Mathematical -- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, or divide correctly. The basic knowledge of fractions, algebra, and geometry. The ability to perform calculations such as sq ft with depth to cubic yards, the hypotenuse of a right angle, and squaring.
Visualization -- The ability to visualize the job process and any complications that can occur.
Equipment selection – Determine the proper tools and equipment needed for a job prior to deployment.
Driver’s License – A current driver's license and class A CDL are not required but are beneficial to the role.
Problem solving – Demonstrate the ability to consistently anticipate problems and develop safe, creative solutions.
Knowledge/Skills/Ability
Must be able to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers. Must be able to demonstrate full range of motion with neck, arms, shoulders, hands, torso, legs, and feet. Must be able to lift and carry materials and tools in excess of 50 lbs. regularly over a workday. May be required to work more than 12 hours continuously, evenings, weekends, and holidays. As the name says, “Any Concrete Cutting, Anytime, Anywhere”, you must be available to support our customer needs anytime and anywhere.

Learn the basic responsibilities within 90 days. Continue to develop your skill set concerning tools and techniques. Safely operate, with supervision, all listed equipment for cutting and removal.

Look for and understand the larger picture of all jobs. Work safely, keep jobsite, trucks, and equipment clean at all times.
Stay motivated, maintain a sense of urgency, be flexible with assignments and hours, be organized, detailed, maintain professional appearances. Be available to work as needed. Expect overtime regularly, approaching or exceeding a 55 hour work week.
Prior experience in concrete cutting preferred.
