POSITION SUMMARY
The concierge is responsible for creating exceptional, energetic, and consistent guest experiences. The main responsibility of the concierge is to provide 100% guest satisfaction by welcoming arriving guests, seating, establishing a rapport and ensuring a positive guest experience. The concierge must always be friendly, courteous, and informative; as well as ready and willing to assist other team members and service teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Welcome guests to restaurant and operate Open Table reservation system
- Maintain a courteous, efficient, and welcoming entrance to the dining room
- Allocate parties to servers throughout the dining room
- Carry out requests for personalized pre-ordered items
- Escort guests to tables and present menus
- Attend podium for entirety of shift, answering guest questions and monitoring guest waiting area
- When assigned, operate coat check service for guest belongings
- When assigned, assist in lobby management by verifying age of guests and performing security check of guest bags in lobby before admittance to Lounge
- Continual communication with members of dining room and management teams
- Elicit feedback from departing guests on their experience in order to continually improve the operation to increase guest base and maximize revenues
- Ensure CHIT instructions are hand delivered to appropriate server upon guest arrival
- Performs other duties as assigned

- Responsible for notifying MOD of difficult situations with guests and staff
- Training and successful implementation of protocols for situation such as: emergency/ambulance/ 911 calls, fire safety, injuries, ill/intoxicated guests, crowd control, lobby checks, etc.
- Continually looking for ways to exceeds guest expectations
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous experience in a similar position in an upscale environment is required
- Open Table experience preferred
- Must possess exemplary guest services skills and knowledge of restaurant operations
- Exhibits a professional appearance and maintains a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor always
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Willing to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to relate to all levels of guests and management
- Must possess a strong team spirit
- Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to regularly lift and/or push up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis and up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
- Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist
- Ability to stand and walk for most of your shift
- Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
- Ability to work alone for long periods of time
