Established Independent Pharmacy is looking for a Full Time Compounding Pharmacy Technician .

Job Title: Compounding Pharmacy Technician, will be responsible for compounding sterile preparations.

Primary Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

• Compounding pharmaceutical medications.
• Keeping the Pharmacy work area clean, orderly and free from safety hazards.
• Answering the phone in a courteous manner.
• Assist in checking and removing out-of-date product .
• Order, receive, rotate and store product to assure quality controls.
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance of federal HIPPA regulations.
• Organize and file records.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Minimum

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same.
• Must be registered with the Board of Pharmacy in Mississippi.

• Treat others with respect and dignity.
• Compliance with all company policies and procedures.

Preferred

• Possess good telephone skills and complete cashier training.
• Ability to understand and operate the computer in the pharmacy.
• Possess and exercise good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Working knowledge of the Rx30 Pharmacy Software
• Compounding experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $20.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Pharmacy technician experience: 1 year (Preferred)

• Day Shift (Required)
