Job Summary:
Entry level role, will work with carbon fiber, fiberglass, Kevlar, and high-modulus composite materials and parts. The Composite Technician will fabricate composite parts and complete required paperwork and documentation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare molds for lay-up and maintain mold surface quality.
- Maintain proper ply orientation sequence during kitting and lamination.
- Lay-up into molds using prep-impregnated material, or apply liquid resin to
materials and lay-up into molds.
- Prepare vacuum bags following general bagging and debagging procedures.
- Trim, drill and assemble composite parts using small hand tools.
Education and Experience (required):
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities (required):
- Ability to work overtime and some weekends.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions to ensure part conformity and continuous improvement.

- Demonstrated skill with small hand tools (drills, sanders, grinders).
- Basic computer and math skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.20 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

- Livonia, MI: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Assembly: 1 year (Preferred)
- Carpentry: 1 year (Preferred)
