Job description
Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others. Monitors Company operations and maintenance records to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies to ensure safe and reliable system operation. Assists with development of standardized audit process and coordination of all state and federal audits in the assigned work territory pertaining to procedures, policies, system design, integrity management, construction and maintenance, as well as program audits i.e., DIMP/TIMP and Public Awareness. This position will also aid in State and Federal data requests, as well as responses to audit/inspection findings.
This position can be located in Bismarck, ND, Billings, MT or our other service locations in MDU/GPNG service territories in MT/ND/SD/WY/MN and may consider a remote work location within these territories.)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for scheduling, communicating, and preparing for audits within assigned region.
2. Gathers and analyzes data in preparation for upcoming state or federal audits and responds to data request.
3. Maintains liaison with state and federal pipeline safety representatives during audits. Represents Company at state and federal meetings.
4. Reports audit results to appropriate internal audiences and assists with audit response activities.
5. Coordinates any follow-up inspections on communications previously given to the state or federal agencies.
6. Assists in the development of standardized audit processes and procedures within the Utility Group.
7. Recommends policy and procedural revisions to enhance pipeline safety and public awareness.
8. Performs on call responsibility to receive notification and make notification to state, federal, or OSHA.
9. Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
