The Little Falls Youth & Family Center a not-for-profit community service agency, is looking for a professional and customer service-oriented Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our Community Co-op. As the store manager you will supervise all operational and organizational standards of the store. Your duties will include undertaking administrative tasks, monitoring inventory levels, ordering, developing business strategies, staffing and building oversight.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering Excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Creating business strategies to meet customer needs and attract new customers
  • Hiring, training and overseeing staff
  • Creating weekly staffing schedules
  • Ensuring store compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Undertaking store administrative duties and record keeping
  • Monitoring inventory levels and ordering
  • Meeting sales and budget goals

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration or aligned field is preferred
  • Previous experience working in a retail environment, ideally in a managerial role
  • Knowledge of product lines preferred
  • Strong leadership, customer management abilities and attention to detail
  • Customer service oriented with strong knowledge of business management processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and able to lead by example
  • Solid computer literacy
  • Knowledge of point-of-sale software preferred
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task

Compensation: (Based on a 40 hr work week)

$40,000/year

$2,000 health insurance supplement

2 weeks paid vacation

6 paid Holidays

NYS sick leave, workers compensation, Disability and unemployment benefit as required by NYS law.
