Using your entrepreneurial spirit, you’ll manage the sales and marketing aspects of your book to build a community of loyal clients. You will be accountable for driving sales performance by connecting with customers, discovering their needs, and educating them on the products that will best protect their financial future - all with the support of an established, world-class company.

The ideal candidate will have a track record in sales, a strong ability to communicate effectively with clients, and an outgoing, team-oriented attitude. We are looking for a self-starter and quick learner to jump into the role and begin working immediately to foster relationships with new and existing clients.

We are growing quickly and looking for talented individuals to add value to our team. You’ll look to ace your core responsibilities while gradually taking on new projects that move Saleme Insurance, and your career, forward.

Starting out, you will earn a generous base salary and move toward working on commissions.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients
• Set and consistently achieve sales goals
• Prepare quotes and proposals using product knowledge to recommend appropriate insurance solutions
• Address client questions and concerns knowledgeably
• Identify opportunities to up-/cross-sell to clients
• Organize, prioritize, and coordinate multiple work activities with the ability to meet deadlines
• Allot time to study for the Pennsylvania Property and Casualty Insurance Exam

Desired Skills and Experience

• At least 1 year of sales experience required
• 1-2 years of customer service experience in a sales-oriented atmosphere
• BA/BS degree strongly preferred
• Must be willing to sit for the Pennsylvania Property and Casualty Insurance Exam within 9 months of hire
• Outgoing and upbeat personality with a penchant for team-oriented collaboration is required
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must, as well as a deeply proactive approach to meeting and exceeding goals
• Experience with establishing and maintaining personal and business relationships is a plus
• Prior experience in the insurance industry is not required
