Job description

Providence Education Group is an accredited K-12 private school in Tequesta, FL. We specialize in mastery-based learning in a nurturing environment. The classes have a maximum of 8 students, with 1:1 classes in the daily schedule. We are looking for an experienced teacher to work with elementary and middle school students with robotics and/or coding on Fridays. If the Friday classes are successful, we will form an after school club.

Please apply if you have a passion for teaching children, are an expert in teaching coding and robotics, and have quality experience with groups of students. .Please include a cover letter describing your experience in teaching and why this position is a good fit for you.

Required:

  • 5 years minimum teaching experience teaching
  • At last 2 years of experience teaching coding or robotics to children
  • Available to work 3 -4 hours on Fridays per the Palm Beach County Public School Calendar
  • Hours are between 10am and 2:30pm
  • Palm Beach County School District Calendar
  • References will be checked
  • Level 2 background screening required
  • Please provide a cover letter explaining why you are interested in this teaching position

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $40.00 per hour
