We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team at Condustrial. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to precise specifications. This is a great opportunity for individuals with experience in metal fabrication who possess a strong attention to detail and a passion for producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

- Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including selecting and installing appropriate tooling

- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine the specific bending requirements

- Load and position metal sheets into the machine, ensuring proper alignment and positioning

- Operate the press brake machine to bend and shape metal sheets according to specified dimensions and angles

- Monitor the production process to ensure accuracy and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality standards

- Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications, conducting measurements and visual inspections

- Perform routine maintenance on the press brake machines to ensure optimal performance

- Collaborate with team members, including supervisors and engineers, to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar metal fabrication role

- Proficiency in setting up and operating press brake machines, including knowledge of tooling selection and adjustment

- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders

- Strong mathematical skills to accurately calculate measurements and angles

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

- Familiarity with safety procedures and practices in a manufacturing environment

- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects as required

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

- Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime as needed
