Company Summary:

Trimlite is a manufacturer of decorative door-lites, stile and rail doors and a wholesale distributor of doors, millwork and building material related products to the building trade.

Position Summary:

The CNC Operator sets up and operates cutting machinery to ensure a high quality and accurate door is manufactured. Duties include adjusting CNC programming to design templates, performing regular operator-level maintenance, maintaining production numbers via assigned work orders, maintaining CNC production line to 5S standards, follow safety requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Set up machinery for production.
• Validate work order requirements prior to machining.
• Enter relevant codes to specify feed, speed, and cut of toolpath for CNC.
• Measure and verify all calculations prior to every work order.
• Utilize standard tape measure quality checks at assigned intervals.
• Efficiently produces 150 high quality doors per shift.
• Focused effort and ownership to scrap reduction targets.
• Perform routine operator-level maintenance.
• Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
• Effectively coordinates production in a team environment.
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by management.

Experience and Qualifications:

• 3-5 years CNC operator experience.
• In-depth knowledge of cutting tools and CNC machinery.
• Excellent understanding of mechanics and mathematics.
• Strong eye for detail, focused, and diligent.
• SQDC and 5S minded.
• Able to lift 75-100lbs.

Education and Requirements:

• HS Diploma
• Math proficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
