CNC Machine Operator-2nd Shift-4 day work week
Job description
Brenner Aerostructures is currently seeking a skilled CNC machinist in our busy production facility. The ideal candidate will have 3 + years of CNC machining experience and excellent communication skills. The successful applicant will be responsible for setting up (load/unload parts), operating, and running our 5-Axis Thermwood/Anderson CNC routers. Ability to load fixtures, follow work instructions, and read tool layout sheets is required. He/she will also have great attention to detail and an ability to multitask as required. Training will take place on first shift, but long term, this is a split shift/second shift position. Quality, problem solving, operation monitoring, critical thinking, operation and control, active listening, reading comprehension, troubleshooting & equipment maintenance as needed. Work experience (Preferred) /Job Requirements:
- Follow the production schedule set by the work center lead and the Production Manager
- Adhere to production processes as determined by quality and engineering
- Participate in setups and cleanups as directed by the work center lead
- Work overtime and/or Saturdays as necessary based on the production schedule
- Complete preventative maintenance as required
- Read, understand, and fill out all required paperwork and computer forms
Education Requirements:
High school diploma/GED required- 3 + years’ experience working in a production/manufacturing environment as a machinist REQUIRED
- Strong work ethic and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds unassisted
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
- Reliable mode of transportation
