Angels Wings Private Home Care was born out of the need for better home care service. AWPHC was established in 2010; Winifred E. Campbell, RN, realized early on that there was a need for home care service in our community and was determined to make a difference.

Unfortunately, ALS took her life, and she did not live long enough to see the company come to fruition. With her compassion in mind, we continue her mission to bring high-quality private home care service with Angels Wings as a provider.

Our organization is seeking an experienced Home Health Aide & CNA/Nursing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with geriatric patients in a home health setting and will be able to provide quality care to our patients. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and follow supervisor directions. This position also requires the ability to work flexible hours and travel when necessary.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
• Assist with ambulation and transfers.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the supervisor.
• Assist in the implementation of patient care plans.
• Help maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
• Provide companionship to elderly patients.
• Assist with meal plans and diet monitoring.
• Assist with running errands and shopping.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem, PRN

Pay: From $15.50 per hour

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)

• CNA (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
• Night Shift (Preferred)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Required)
