Avenues Recovery Center located between Waldorf and Annapolis, MD is a unique community-based residential treatment facility that's truly customized to the needs and unique circumstances of each individual. With our team of skilled medical and clinical professionals, Avenues Recovery offers first class treatment and recovery.

We are now hiring Med Techs/CMTs for the second shift (3pm-11pm), overnights (11pm-7am), and the weekends, who assure quality care is provided within policies and parameters defined by the nursing management. Primary responsibilities can include monitoring and assisting with patient medication , maintaining a stable environment for clients at all times, coordinating treatment sessions, administering routine urine drug screenings/breath tests, and an overall commitment to their recovery journey.

Additional duties include: assisting RC, supervising residents, enforcing treatment center policies, driving facility van, accompanying residents to outings (including 12-step meetings), facilitating community groups and documenting daily activity.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a residential/psychiatric setting, preferred
• Ability to set firm limits in an empathetic way
• General knowledge of recovery and mental illness
• Good people skills
• Valid driver's license
• This position supports medical staff and must hold a CMT license.
