Key Responsibilities:
The Manager - Clubs & Lounges oversees and makes decisions on all the products and amenities available across the United Club and Polaris lounge global network. Key deliverable for the role is to design, implement, and support a long-term product strategy that provides consistency and cohesion for customers and operations, and is aligned with key financial and satisfaction goals. Working with leadership colleagues across many internal groups, this tastemaker will need to proactively identify areas of continuous improvement and seek external partnerships to help drive program goals and align with the company’s vision of an industry-leading lounge program.
- Architect, implement, and maintain a thoughtful and scalable product strategy for all customer touchpoints inside the club and lounge environment
- Own decisioning for all products and amenities offered to customers – make selections, seek applicable partners, build detailed visual merchandising instructions, develop standards, and ensure successful and sustainable operationalization
- Explore and attract meaningful partnership opportunities and set objective review criteria to ensure selections are additive, address program and customer needs, and are impactful to the overall premium experience
- Design and deliver strategic system-wide activations
- Develop strong and data-driven business cases to champion product/service needs and outline reporting methods to showcase performance and communicate updates, including setting performance improvement plans to support long-term success
- Serve as end-to-end project lead/manager for all product, amenity, and partner implementations
- Lead lifecycle partner management – beginning with RFP (and subsequent negotiation work), implementation, and ongoing business reviews

Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Marketing
- 5+ years' experience in marketing, product, and/or strategy management
- Proven project management experience (ability to lead large, complexed, matrixed, and multi-timeline projects)
- Significant partnership experience (development and/or management)
- Outstanding communication and polished presentation skills
- Strong business sense and detail oriented
- Ability to represent the brand with internal and partner leadership
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

- Master's degree or MBA
- Experience in Product development and/or Collaborations, Retail, or Hospitality
- Analytical Skills: ability to pull, review, interpret and support data
- Experience developing and delivering business cases
- Experience in partnership negotiation agreements
