Role: Cloud Security Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (Day1 Onsite)

Job Description:

"Skills:

• Hands-on knowledge of IaaS and PaaS platform with one or more Public Clouds such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, AliCloud

• Hands-on Cloud Security expertise

• Strong competency with implementing IAM policies such as Resource Policy, Service

Control Policy, Permissions Boundary, and Identity Policy.

• Strong knowledge of common threat vectors related to public cloud and best practices

around security controls to prevent and detect security issues

• Understanding of cloud networking concepts

• Basic coding skills (ex: JSON, Python)

Responsibilities:

• Understand and follow Apple service security review process

• Perform in-depth research on IaaS and PaaS services using cloud provider documentation

• Review public cloud services to identify potential methods of misuse which would

violate Apple security requirements and document these gaps and security risks

• Implement security preventative and detective controls for cloud services to mitigate

security risk using security control policies, org-level policies, and detection rules

• Identify and document product feature requests (PFR) for security gaps that cannot be

mitigated through available controls

• Follow Apple’s work management tools such as Quip, Jira to document and update

ongoing progress

• Provide regular updates in Jira about ongoing progress to keep Apple team informed

• Follow Agile methodology and participate in sprint planning, daily scrums, sprint retro"

Job Type: Contract

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
