Clinical Supervisor (FSP Program)
Job description
The FSP Clinical Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the clinical and support services of their assigned team. The Clinical Supervisor will ensure culturally competent mental health services to clients through the supervision of assigned associates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide administrative and clinical supervision to assigned associates, including completion of performance evaluations and staff development plan:
- Provide clinical training to supervisees (4) and other program staff as needed.
- b. Evaluate supervisees’ clinical skills and provide training and guidance in the development of client assessments, diagnoses, treatment plans, service-related documentation and other program requirements.
- Oversee the supervisees’ productivity and assist them in achieving agency’s utilization standards. Facilitate PIPs (performance improvement plans) if/when needed. d. Review and approve supervisees’ progress notes within 48 hours of submission in EXYM.
- Facilitate the opening and closing of client charts. Ensure that clients’ annual service reviews, outcome measures, care plans and all other program documentation is submitted, approved, and placed in electronic and/or physical chart within agency timelines.
- Provide back-up for the Intensive Services Division Head, FSP Manager and FSP Coordinator.
- Maintain LPS designation (required to assess and write applications for hold) and rotate coverage with leadership team.
- Initiate Outreach & Engagement referrals with assigned treatment team and work with Coordinator to ensure program specifications are followed and referrals are adequately processed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE: 1. License to practice independently in California (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC). 2. Minimum of 2 years post licensure experience. 3. Previous supervisory experience with associates and support staff. 4. Experience in working with and servicing a culturally diverse treatment team and clientele. 5. Experience with intensive services programs, specifically with dual diagnosis and homeless individuals. 6. Experience with DMH program and documentation guidelines. 7. Advanced skills in organization, time-management, and industry compliance of services and documentation timelines. 8. Maintain reliable means of transportation to provide field work and attend client sessions and meetings in the community.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
