Clinical Director for Dermatology Clinic

We are looking to hire a clinical director to supervise our medical assistant team in their daily operations and to assist with optimizing the overall function of our medical clinics.

This is a full-time in person position averaging 36-40 hours per week.

As Clinical Director, you will serve as a leader of your clinics to develop and manage a highly functioning medical assistant team that consistently delivers the best in patient care and customer service, in support of our values. Clinic Directors work with other business units to ensure operational efficiency across all service lines. They are a clinical expert resource to staff regarding patient needs and clinical oversight under the office manager.

Clinical Directors will work side-by-side along their team delivering patient care and will be responsible for the success of their team.

The Clinical Director will be the direct contact between the physician providers and the medical assistant team.

Essential Functions:

Ability to fulfill all responsibilities of the Provider position as detailed in the specific Provider job description.

Manages the day-to-day operations of the clinic to include scheduling, staffing, training, and other administrative duties involving staff.

Communicates collaborates and coordinates with Manager to ensure company values, mission, philosophy, and procedures are embraced.

Responsible for clinic metrics as determined by Operations to include clinical quality, patient satisfaction, and visits, etc.

Performa a daily huddle prior to shifts.

Plans and conducts monthly clinic meeting communicating with staff consistently.

Create and manage the schedule of the clinic, timesheets and PTO maintaining appropriate coverage levels.

Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and internal compliance programs.

Conducts interviews for clinical staff and makes hiring recommendations.

Establishes and maintains a collaborative working relationship with the Physicians.

Responsible for learning the aspects of compliance in the company by completing all mandatory compliance training and supporting and advocating throughout the clinic of the same.

Motivates self and overall team and supports team to create a positive, productive and efficient work environment supportive of our values while meeting and exceeding our company goals.

Lead by example to the team in attitude and work performance that represents our values.

Responsible for overseeing training for positions that report to the Clinic Director and supporting training and coaching for those that report within the team.

Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Education:

4-year Bachelor Degree preferred, 2 year associate's degree will be considered.

Degree in Nursing or Successful completion of a medical assistant certificate program.

AND

Experience:

Medical assistant management experience > 5 years with multi-site experience, or RN with outpatient clinic management experience >2 years

Hours, Location & Pay:

Typical schedules: Clinic hours are Monday-Friday 7am-630pm and Saturday 8am-2 pm

Occasional week-end supervision, early morning and evening hours will be required.

Clinics located in both Hinsdale and Downers Grove.

Salary Position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $60,000.00 per year
