POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the direct and indirect total nursing care of the patients on his/her assigned unit during a scheduled period of work time. He/she also performs patient care under the direct supervision of licensed care providers.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
o High school diploma or equivalent.
EXPERIENCE
o One year of related experience in a healthcare facility preferred.
o Demonstrated proficiency with administering a variety of routine patient care procedures (i.e. taking blood
pressure, temperature and pulse) acquired through on-the-job training.
o Computer data entry experience.
o Must obtain BLS certification within probationary period.
