Servicing customer sites in Maple Grove, Elk River, Rogers, Monticello, University Avenue Area St. Paul/ Minneapolis.

The ideal candidate will deliver results by being process oriented, focus on continuous improvement, pay attention to details, and assist the Area Account Manager.

COMPENSATION: $24.00 Per Hour (Hourly - Not Salaried) + Full Benefits Package.

FULL TIME SCHEDULE:

Custodial Team Leads Enjoy a 5-Day Work Week with Paid Mileage and Drive Time Between Customer Sites. Great Opportunity for Advancement and Career Growth.

Schedule is Monday- Friday from 5PM-1:30AM. One night per week runs slightly later when helping cover for the lead manager.

Weekend On Call Rotation: Once every 5 weekends, you are on-call to take phone calls from staff and to help cover absences as necessary. You will receive additional compensation for On-Call Weekends.

CUSTODIAL LEAD- MANAGER’S ASSISTANT JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Janitorial/Cleaning Duties Approximately 80% of Time.
• Vacuums, sweeps and mops entries, rooms, offices, etc.
• Dusts and straightens furniture.
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms.
• Empties wastebaskets and assures trash is ready for pickup.
• Washes glass windows and doors.
• Fills dispensers, soap, towels, etc.
• Training New Employees and Conducting Quality Audits
• Assists Area Manager as needed to plan, organize and control his/her area of responsibility
• Works to promptly resolve any concerns the customer may have or to accommodate any reasonable request.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIRMENTS FOR CUSTODIAL LEAD - MANAGER’S ASSISTANT:

• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
• Must have annual flu shot.
• Reliable Person Vehicle **We Pay Mileage and Drive Time
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid MN drivers’ license with acceptable driving record
• Clean criminal history background check
• Prior leadership - supervisory/ cleaning experience
• Experience within the janitorial industry is a plus but not required
• Fluent in English with the ability to communicate clearly (written and verbal). Being bi-lingual is a plus but not required.
• Able to engage in physical activity to move, lift, carry, push, or pull heavy objects or materials up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Effective time management skills are essential to this position. Being a Self-Starter. Motivated to succeed.
• Regular, consistent, and predictable attendance.
