This is a hybrid position that will manage the existing cleaning staff as well as clean some facilities as well. It will be 50% office work and 50% in the field until we need you full time in the office as the manager.
As a cleaning supervisor, you supervise the rest of the cleaning crew. Your job duties include scheduling and coordinating staff, performing specialized services to ensure all areas and equipment are clean, and communicating with other departments. You may also hire and train new team members and maintain a custodial budget. You need experience managing people and working as part of a cleaning crew.
Responsibilities
- Managing the existing cleaning staff
- Cleaning some residential or commercial spaces.
- Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Carry out cleaning tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Skills
- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity
- High school education or greater preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
