We've partnered with a great school in New Castle seekinga highly motivated and energetic4th gradeteacher to join theirteam for the 23/24 School Year. The ideal candidate should have a passion for teaching, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality education to elementarystudents.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards and educational objectives for 4th grade students.
• Provide engaging and interactive instruction that encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity.
• Evaluate and assess student performance through a variety of methods, including tests, quizzes, projects, and assignments.
• Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas for improvement and providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, kindness, and diversity.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to develop and implement school-wide initiatives and programs.
• Participate in professional development activities and stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in education.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Strong knowledge of 4th grade curriculum standards and educational objectives.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to create and implement engaging and interactive lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Familiarity with technology and its integration into the classroom.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field.
• Valid teaching certification in Delaware - OR - valid Elementary Education Teaching Certificate in a state that holds reciprocity, and the ability to apply for your DE teaching certificate upon job offer.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a K-5 setting.
• Experience with technology integration in the classroom.
• Strong classroom management skills.
