Sage Hematology and Oncology is currently looking for a Senior Pharmacy Technicianto join our team! This full time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Mix Chemotherapy IVs accurately.
• Performs all safety checks Appropriate labeling, visually inspect when mixing IVs.
• Re-stocks Chemotherapy drugs appropriately.
• Maintains IV mixing room in a clean, organized manner and ensures supplies are restocked and ordered as needed.
• Fills automated dispensing cabinets ( Lynx) correctly by performing all safety checks i.e. visual inspection during restock process daily, and fills out restock reports weekly for providers and practice manager with absolute accuracy.
• Follows and documents all cleaning procedures daily.
• Maintains inventory by placing daily orders, checking in the orders, and reconciling the invoices with orders.
• Completes all annual mandatory education required by facility

Education

Graduate of high school or equivalent required.

Work Experience

Two or more years Chemotherapy Mixing.

Certification/License

Must become a Certified Pharmacy Technician.

Physical requirements

Standing, walking, sitting, and lifting (35 lbs.) will be necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
